A word from the new Chairman
Dave Woolrich of Cheddleton based F Ball & Co is the new Chairman of North Staffs Manufacturing Group (NSMG).
Dave, Lean Project manager at F Ball, has first hand experience of the benefits of belonging to the group, being actively involved since F Ball undertook a funded diagnostic programme through the group in 2005 which continues to reap gains.
'The group is run for manufacturers by the Chamber and our partners listed to the left. The group provides a network to share knowledge and expertise. Despite what the media would have you believe, manufacturing is still thriving in this area and the range of products manufactured in North Staffordshire is truly astounding. If you haven't been to any of our events or visits, most of which are free, I would strongly urge you to. If you would like more information about the group and its activities send your enquiries to membership@nscci.co.uk
