Visiting the Market
The International Trade Team organises a complete programme of ways to visit overseas markets for companies all over the UK looking to export for the first time as well as those who are established exporters.
- Market Visits are professionally planned and managed group visits to overseas markets and are an economical way of developing your business. A UK Trade & Investment travel grant and competitive travel package reduce the cost of the visit and help and support is available from the British Embassy in finding and establishing contacts.
- Trade Fairs/Exhibitions (Worldwide)
Trade Fairs/Exhibitions are supported by UK Trade & Investment; fixed grants of up to £1800 are available when the activity forms part of an agreed export strategy with an International Trade Adviser. - Business Visits (to the United Nations Agencies worldwide & The World Bank Group, Washington DC)
These visits are aimed at companies looking to sell their products/services to the Relief Agencies worldwide. UKTI regularly take UK groups to visit to the United Nations Agencies in New York and Geneva and the World Bank in Washington DC. Companies from all over the United Kingdom are invited to participate. - There's nothing like being there
Taking part in overseas events such as trade shows and market visits is a really effective way to meet crucial contacts and customers face to face and update yourselves on the competition. UK Trade & Investment provides support to groups of UK companies traveling abroad with Accredited Trade Organisations such as trade associations, Chambers of Commerce so that you can make the most of these events.
